Experience
Mill River Union High School (2015 – 2016) – North Clarendon, Vermont.
Consultant – Training, support and modeling of restorative practices at this regional, rural high school. Presentations at staff and school board meetings. Facilitation of circle processes to demonstrate a values-based, whole-school approach and to respond to specific incidents of unacceptable behavior.
State of Vermont (1989 - 2015) - Rutland, Vermont.
Community Corrections Program Supervisor - Department of Corrections. From 1999 - 2015, direct supervision of up to ten Probation & Parole Officers and administrative staff. Oversight of Thinking for a Change and Intensive Domestic Abuse Programs. Support of restorative justice (RJ) initiatives such as the Reparative Probation, DUI Victim Impact / Safe Driving and Community Restitution Programs. Direct service delivery and training in support of restorative justice / family group / community conferencing both within Corrections and the greater community. Prior to that 16-year role, served as Community Resource Coordinator for Rutland, Bennington and Addison counties from 1994 – 1999 and as Volunteer Services Coordinator at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility in Rutland from 1989 – 1994.

VOLUNTEERISM
Extensive and ongoing volunteer service and board member work over the years in state & municipal government, the public school system and in programs associated with youth, criminal offenders, battered women and the homeless. Currently working with Full Circle Restorative Justice out of Salida, Colorado, and with the Denver, Colorado, District Attorney’s Office Court Diversion / Restorative Justice Program.
